The RockJock Trac Bar and Steering Stabilizer Shock Relocation Axle Bracket Kit for JK Wrangler and Unlimited vehicles is designed specifically to be used in conjunction with our High Steer Knuckles.

Given the dramatic changes in geometry high steer knuckles impose, this axle bracket easily bolts on to your factory axle and provides you with geometry correction for your trac bar, raising it's mounting point 2 in., to prevent you from incurring any bump steer after installing the high steer knuckles.

The stabilizer shock mount portion of the bracket gives you an easy bolt up anchor point for your shock that sets the shock at a considerably higher position than stock, behind the raised tie rod, to protect it from rocks!

This specific bracket is found in our RJ-430001-103 JK High Steer Kit that includes a JL/JT Trac Bar. The Trac Bar mounting hole in this bracket accommodates the (mandatory) use of our longer length RJ-9120FJLF JL/JT front Trac Bar for optimizing geometry and so that all components nest together for maximum up travel as engineered.

If you were intending to use a factory or aftermarket JK Trac Bar, you'll want to look at our RJ-431110-103 bracket kit.

Notes:

We recommend buying this bracket kit in our complete RJ-430001-103 High Steer Knuckle Kit so that you are ensured a complete system that includes everything you need to get the job done.
For a successful finished install of this kit, we recommend the use of our RJ-441002-101 tie rod clamp bracket to relocate the opposite end of the shock into the ideal place with regards to geometry.

This kit requires the use of either a factory JL/JT stabilizer shock or, specifically, Bilstein's B8 5100 series stock replacement shock, part number: 33-292984 shock be used.

This bracket does Not work with Twin tube and thru-rod dampers as they will intersect with other components!

With regards to differential cover clearance, this system clears fine with an OEM cover. Aftermarket diff covers may need to be clearanced to allow the stabilizer shock tie rod bracket to clear. However, be aware, some diff covers may not work at all.
