Designed to improve stance, performance, and capability. BDS Suspension has designed this 4.5-inch lift kit for your 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ. This kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 33 inch Tires.
This 4.5-inch lift kit includes front and rear Glide-Ride leaf springs with new u-bolts, front and rear track bar relocation brackets to center the axle, stainless steel braided brake lines, sway bar disconnects, power steering pitman arm, bump stop extensions, a transfer case drop kit to ease the drive line angles and 1 inch xtended shackles to let your springs really flex. Round out this kit with specially tuned NX2 nitro series gas shocks to offer improved damper performance.
Glide-Ride Leaf Springs
Built to outperform, BDS engineered the Glide-Ride leaf springs into a multi-leaf progressive spring rate design that provides a smooth ride with any load. This is accomplished with an exclusive triple-stage leaf spring design.
These spring feature tapered leafs, anti-friction pads, bolt style leaf alignment clamps and a full military wrap to protect your spring eyes from the rocks. Upgrading to BDS Glide-Ride leaf springs will provide flexibility throughout the suspension cycle.

May require larger diameter driveshaft if equipped with a 41-1/2 inch front driveshaft.
If you have a heavy Jeep (ie. Hard top with full size spare) you will want to run the front springs on both the front and rear. This selection can be made in the customize section before checking out.
A slip yoke eliminator and dual cardan style rear driveshaft may be required to eliminate drive line vibration.
Pitman arms will NOT fit Yj models equiped with manual steering.

Rear Lift Option
Select the appropriate rear springs based on the weight of your vehicle and hard top vs. soft top.
Heavy Duty Leaf Springs - Use these springs if you plan to run additional weight beyond the stock spare and a soft top. A must for hard top applications and will still ride great when you take your hard top off.
