The RK 2.625 Remote Reservoir Shocks feature a fluted aluminum body that delivers a remarkable weight reduction without compromising strength. This makes it the lightest remote reservoir shock in its class, while also providing a surface area larger than many 3 bodied shocks, improving cooling efficiency.

The fluting enhances the structural integrity of the aluminum cylinders, ensuring they are just as strong - if not stronger - than steel 2.5 shock bodies. To prevent corrosion, the shock bodies are treated with a military-grade hard anodized coating, offering long-lasting protection.

These shocks come equipped with a high-quality DU bearing and a massive 1 17-4 PH hardened stainless steel with a hard chromed plated and polished coated Nitrotec shaft. The hard anodized billet aluminum valve circuit, combined with multi stage valving, offers precise damping control, while redundant sealing technology ensures the shock oil stays securely in place. The specially formulated shock oil provides fade-free damping and smooth rebound, thanks to its high viscosity index and shear stability.

Additionally, a custom Teflon piston wear band significantly reduces shock body wear.
