RockJock's Steering Stabilizer Shock Tie Rod Clamp is a trick piece for use with our Currectlync steering systems in high steer or stock knuckle applications! In our quest to make installing heavy duty aftermarket steering on modern off-road vehicles easy, we continue to engineer solutions, such as this clamp, to keep you on the trail having fun and optimize your on-road driving experience!

Forged 4130 chromoly clamp features precise curves and angles for ease of installation on to, specifically, our 42mm (1.654 in.) OD tie rod tubes. Though we have designed this piece for use specifically with our steering systems, it can be used universally in virtually any application (high-steer/low steer, stock height or lifted).

Engineered for ease of use in multiple applications, this clamp can be mounted in any orientation your application requires to allow for your stabilizer shock to function properly and clear other components. The stabilizer shock mounting bolt can install be mounted from either side of the forged clamp, as can the jam nut, to position the shock for clearance and to allow for the shock mounting gap to be adjusted so that you may use it with any shock you choose.

Simply install the bolt thru your shock, thread the jam nut up snug to the other side of your shock to set your gap, install the bolt into the bracket and lock the jam nut down!
Installation requires no modifications or machining to your existing tie rod and all necessary hardware is included.

Kit Includes:

  • (1) Inner tie rod clamp half
  • (1) Outer tie rod clamp half
  • (1) 12mm-1.75 x 55mm x grade 10.9 flanged head stabilizer shock mounting bolt
  • (1) 12mm-1.75 x class 10 jam nut
  • (3) 5/16 in.-18 x 1 in. x grade 8 clamp bolts

Fitment Specs:

  • Clamps to 42mm (1.654 in.) OD tie rod tubes
  • Can be used with stock JL/JT/JK steering stabilizer shocks
  • Can be used with most aftermarket steering stabilizer shocks
  • Shock mounting bolt is metric to accommodate stock JL/JT/JK shocks
  • Use universally with high or low steer configurations and any amount of lift

  • Material=forged 4130 chromoly steel
  • Large (mounting) thru-hole=accepts 42mm (1.654 in.) OD tie rod tubes
  • Gap where shock installs=adjustable to suit (.750 in. - 1.5625 in.)
  • Jam nut=7/32 in. tall
  • Forged bracket halves finished in gloss black powder coat
  • Hardware finished in clear zinc plating

Notes:

  • Fits 42mm (1.654 in.) tie rods only!
  • In JL and JT applications, usage of this bracket will require you to relocate the other end of the stabilizer shock as well. See our RJ-441102-101 (low steer) and RJ-441110-101 (high steer) kits for an easy solution.
  • This bracket accepts stock JL/JT and JK shocks. Shock bolt is adjustable to accept aftermarket shocks.
  • For use with traditional style stabilizer shocks only - not for use with ram assist!
  • Due to clamp's universal design, it can be installed in a variety of applications. For your own safety, always cycle your steering and then articulate your vehicle's suspension and cycle your steering again to ensure clamp has ample clearance to move freely and not get caught or bound up on other components that could possibly lock up your steering!
